SYNOPSIS

parsec-cli workspace import [–password-stdin] [-d|–device] [-c|–config-dir] [-p|–parents] [–update] [-h|–help] <-w|–workspace> <SRC> <DEST>

DESCRIPTION

Import a local file to a remote workspace

OPTIONS

-w, –workspace <WORKSPACE>

Workspace ID

May also be specified with the PARSEC_WORKSPACE_ID environment variable.

–password-stdin

Read the password from stdin instead of TTY. This flag needs to be explicitly set (it does not have a env var)

-d, –device <DEVICE>

Device ID

May also be specified with the PARSEC_DEVICE_ID environment variable.

-c, –config-dir <CONFIG_DIR> [default: /home/redacted/.config/parsec3/libparsec]

Parsec config directory

May also be specified with the PARSEC_CONFIG_DIR environment variable.

-p, –parents

If specified, create parent directories as needed

No error if parent directories already exist (similar to `mkdir -p`)

–update <UPDATE> [default: none-fail]

Control how existing files are updated.

(similar to `cp –update=…`)

Possible values:
  • all: Existing files in destination are replaced

  • none-fail: Existing files in destination are not replaced but raise and error instead

-h, –help

Print help (see a summary with -h)

<SRC>

Local file or folder to import (e.g. “myfile.txt”)

<DEST>

Destination path in the workspace (e.g. “/path/to/myfile.txt”)

The path is absolute from the workspace root directory. The command will fail if the parent directories do not exist, unless the `parents` option is enabled.

If the destination file already exists, its content will be replaced.
